IPL 2026 Match No. 18 was played today between CSK and DC at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai. In this match, CSK won by 23 runs and registered their first win of the season after losing three consecutive matches. On the other hand, this was DC’s second consecutive defeat.

In this match, DC won the toss and chose to field first, asking CSK to bat.

CSK set a target of 212 runs for DC. However, DC failed to chase the target and was bowled out for 189 runs.

As a result, CSK won the match, and it was DC’s second consecutive defeat.

CSK Batting:

For CSK, Sanju Samson played a brilliant innings of 115 runs and batted until the last over. He scored 115 runs off 56 balls, including 15 fours and 4 sixes.

Ruturaj Gaikwad (captain) did not have a satisfactory performance and got out after scoring only 15 runs.

Ayush Mhatre contributed 59 runs for the team.

In the end, Shivam Dube scored 20 runs off 10 balls and remained not out.

DC Batting:

For DC, only two players contributed significantly with the bat, while the rest of the team did not perform well.

Tristan Stubbs scored 60 runs off 38 balls, hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes.

Pathum Nissanka made 41 runs off 24 balls, including 5 fours and 2 sixes.

KL Rahul was dismissed after scoring only 18 runs. After him, Sameer Rizvi made just 6 runs.

Axar Patel (captain) got out for 1 run, while David Miller scored 17 runs. Ashutosh Sharma contributed 19 runs.

Auqib Nabi made 4 runs, Kuldeep Yadav also scored 4 runs, and Lungi Ngidi added 3 runs.

In the end, the entire team was bowled out for 189 runs.
