The world’s biggest cricket league, the Indian Premier League 2026, is all set to begin in just a few days! The first match of the 19th season was played on March 28 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. However, even before the tournament begins, several teams are facing bad news due to injuries.
It’s almost impossible to mention Chennai Super Kings without bringing up MS Dhoni. The former CSK captain and legendary player is once again in the spotlight.
During a practice session at the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk), Dhoni was seen limping, which has raised concerns among fans on social media. Many are worried about his fitness, and there is also speculation that this could be Dhoni’s last IPL season.
1:- Rajasthan Royals’ Sam Curran and Chennai Super Kings’ Nathan Ellis have been ruled out of the entire season due to injuries.
2:- Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad), Mitchell Starc (Delhi Capitals), and Josh Hazlewood (Royal Challengers Bangalore) are unlikely to be seen on the field in the initial matches of the IPL due to workload management.
3:- In the absence of Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad), Ishan Kishan will serve as the interim captain of the team.
