Indian Premier League 2026 Match No. 15: Today’s match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants was played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Batting first, Kolkata Knight Riders set a target of 182 runs for Lucknow Super Giants. LSG chased the target on the last ball and won the match by 3 wickets.

The hero of the match was Mukesh Choudhary, who scored 54 runs off 27 balls, including 7 sixes and 2 fours, turning the match in LSG’s favor.

So far in the Indian Premier League 2026, Kolkata Knight Riders have not won a single match. The team has played four matches in total.

In their first match, KKR lost to Mumbai Indians by 6 wickets. Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated them by 65 runs in the second match. Their third match against Punjab Kings had no result due to rain.

Today, they lost again as Lucknow Super Giants won the match by 3 wickets.

Cameron Green contributed 32 runs off 24 balls, with 3 fours and 1 six.
In the end, Rovman Powell remained not out on 30 runs from 24 balls, hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes.

These four players played well and helped Kolkata Knight Riders post a competitive total.

LSG Batting:-

For Lucknow Super Giants, three players played key roles in winning the match.

Aiden Markram scored 22 runs off 15 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six.
Ayush Badoni played an important innings of 54 runs off 34 balls, hitting 7 fours and 2 sixes.
In the end, Mukesh Choudhary remained not out on 54 runs off 27 balls, smashing 2 fours and 7 sixes, which completely turned the match in LSG’s favor and led the team to victory.
The rest of the players from Lucknow Super Giants could not make much impact with the bat.
Mitchell Marsh scored 15 runs, while captain Rishabh Pant managed only 10 runs.
Nicholas Pooran added 13 runs for the team.

Meanwhile, Abdul Samad scored 2 runs, Mohammed Shami made 1 run, and Avesh Khan remained not out on 1 run.
