The attack in Pulwama, India, had direct links to Pakistan. According to the NIA report, the people involved in the Pulwama attack received training in Pakistan, and the entire plan was also designed there.

After that, India launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan and carried out strikes on terrorist training centers inside Pakistan. Pakistan also launched attacks on India, but in the end, Pakistan initiated talks with India first and agreed to a ceasefire.

Operation Sindoor sent a very clear message to Pakistan that India will no longer tolerate such kinds of attacks.

Today marks one year of Operation Sindoor, on which PM Modi updated his profile image on social media platforms and shared a message.

What did PM Modi say on the completion of one year of Operation Sindoor?

On this, PM Modi said on the X platform,

A year ago, our armed forces displayed unparalleled courage, precision and resolve during OperationSindoor. They gave a fitting response to those who dared to attack innocent Indians at Pahalgam. The entire nation salutes our forces for their valour.

Operation Sindoor reflected India’s firm response against terrorism and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding national security. It also highlighted the professionalism, preparedness and coordinated strength of our armed forces. At the same time, it showcased the growing jointness among our forces and underlined the strength that India’s quest for self-reliance in the defence sector has brought to our national security.

Today, a year later, we remain as steadfast as ever in our resolve to defeat terrorism and destroy its enabling ecosystem.

A total of 26 people were killed in this attack.

The most significant aspect of this attack was that the attackers reportedly asked people their religion before killing them.

This reflects Pakistan’s mindset and shows that it can stoop to such a low level.

This raises concerns about how Hindus currently living in Pakistan might be treated. Several reports have already indicated that Hindus in Pakistan face discrimination and oppression.

Terrorism is deeply rooted in Pakistan’s mindset, and it has carried out repeated terrorist attacks on India. However, since 2014, India has also begun responding strongly to Pakistan’s actions, unlike before.
