hile becoming another proud Indian batter to record 100 test sixes, Rishabh Pant has completed a milestone while the number of 100 Test sixes he achieved in minimal times.
He achieved his 100 Test sixes against the Sri Lankans during the ongoing Test matches on August 18 2026 at galle cricket stadium Galle.

Pant also made the 100th six a very significant shot of his career. It has happened in the past that Ben Stokes, Brendon McCullum and Adam Gilchrist have done this in the Test, only Pant is the second active player in this group who has achieved this feat.

Pant made it clear that he is indeed unconventional by scoring 66 runs in just 69 balls, with eight fours and two sixes, in India’s second innings against Galle.
Although Pant did not make a century, he contributed through his aggressive half-century to the team of India.
No Indian batsman had smashed 100 sixes before Pant. While players like Virender Sehwag and Rohit Sharma were always in awe of strong hitters, Pant still managed to pip them.
