The third match of IPL 2026 between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) was played today, where RR registered a dominant 8-wicket victory.

The match took place at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. RR won the toss and chose to bowl first. CSK managed to score only 127 runs, which turned out to be an easy target.

In reply, Rajasthan Royals chased down the target comfortably in just 17 overs. The star of the match was Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who played a great innings of 52 runs off just 17 balls, leading his team to victory in style.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) Batting:

While chasing 128 runs, the Rajasthan Royals got off to a strong start with Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal opening the innings. Vaibhav played aggressively right from the beginning and brought up his fifty in just 15 balls.

At the time of his dismissal, RR had already reached 75 runs. Vaibhav scored a brilliant 52 runs, hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes during his explosive innings.

After his wicket, Dhruv Jurel came in to bat and contributed 18 runs before being dismissed by Anshul Kamboj in the 9th over.

Later, RR captain Riyan Parag joined Yashasvi Jaiswal at the crease. Both batsmen played sensibly and maintained the momentum, guiding Rajasthan Royals to victory comfortably in just 13 overs.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Batting:

Chennai Super Kings had a disappointing start in their first match, managing to score only 127 runs. The innings began with Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad, but things did not go as expected.

Following this, Shivam Dube also failed to make an impact and was dismissed for just 6 runs, again by Jadeja. At the end of 10 overs, CSK were struggling at 71/6, and
Rajasthan Royals had taken complete control of the match.
